FERPANDI - correspondents for P&I clubs

The scope of a P&I Correspondent is that of performing an active role locally for the solution of a wide and complex range of matters falling within the P&I Insurance Cover offered to the maritime operators by the P&I Clubs of the International Group and by P&I Insurers.
Most of the P&I Clubs and P&I Insurers have their main office of management centralized in the most important international shipping centres. By the nature of international trade of their Insureds they have built up a wide network of trusted correspondents in the major ports of the world whose names and contact details are listed in the "Correspondents’ Book" which they edit and annually update.
